Research on Innovative Practices in Case-Based Teachingat German Business Schools

Abstract: With the increasing complexity of globalization and management practices,case- based teaching has become a vital component of business education.German business schools have developed a unique practice framework in case development,teaching implementation,and support mechanisms,emphasizing the integration of industryand academia,systematic teaching frameworks,and innovative teaching methods.This paper examines the evolution and innovative practices of German casebased teaching,highlighting its strengths in case library construction,teaching method innovation, and faculty development,while addressing challenges in resource allcation and system adaptability. Based on these findings,the study provides practical insights for Chinese business schools,including localized case development,diversified teaching methods,and systematic support mechanisms,aiming to enhance the global competitiveness of China's business education.
