Abstract:Inordertocultivate the functionalhullss barleyvarieties thatmetthe marketrequirement,anewvarietynamed Longke1wasdevelopedbyhybridizingthelocalvarietyHeshanghulessasthefemaleparentandthehullssbarleyvariety Longqing1asthemaleparent,usingacombinationoftraditionalandmodernbiologicalbreedingmethods.From221to203,it participated inmulti-lcationregional experimentacrossGansuProvince,showinganaverageyieldof5O27.4kg/haacross15site over3years,whichwas729%igherthanthecontrolvarietyLongqing1.Inthe2O23productionexperimentforhulessbarleylines inGansu,itaievedverageyildof598.3kg/an819%increaseoverteontrol,demostratingstrongieldsailtand highproductivity.Longke1isofspring naturewithagrowthperiodof105to110days,anditisofthemedium-maturingtype.The grain contains 139.2 g/kg crude protein, 654.5 g/kg crude starch,19.6 g/kg ether extract, 3.9g/kg lysine, 62.5 g/kg total amino acids, 20.1 g/kg ash,558.8 g/kg branched starch, 65.9 g/kg β -glucan, and 43.87ug/g polyphenol. Itis suitable for cultivation in hulless barley planting areas with an altitude of 17OO to 3 000 m.
