Abstract：Inorder toexplorethedoughtresistanceof diferent winterwheatvarietiesat germinationstagesoastoprovidea theoreticalbasisforthebredingofdrought-resistant winterwheat，PEG-6OoOwasusedtosimulatedroughtstres，andthe germinationpotential，grminationrate，udlength，radiclelength，coleoptilelength，rootshootatioandmainradicleuberof diferentwheatvarietiesunderdroughtstresseremeasured.ResultsshowedthatwiththeincreaseofPEG-6OOOconcentration，the germinationpotential，germinationrate，budlengthandradiclenumberof winterwheatatgerminationstageweredecreased，the coleoptilelengthandmainradiclelengthwereincreasedfirstandthendecreased，andtherootshotratiowasincreasedIn conclusion，Longzong3，Longzong4，Longzhong5，Longzhong6，Longzhong8，Longzhng10andCang6878hadgoddogt resistance，and were suitable for planting in arid and semi-arid areas of Longzhong and similar ecological types.
