Abstract：Withtheintensificationoflabor shortageinruralareas，thecostofcultivatingbaggedapples isrisingsharply. Meanwhile，the weakapplemarket price hasdiminished theadvantagesof baging，andnumerous drawbacksinbaggedaple productionhavemeged，ederingtraditionalaggingtechquesisuffcienttotatualproductioneds.Cosequntlyew opportunityforbag-freeappleproductionistakingshape，whichisexpectedtobecomeaninevitabletrendinthedevelopmentof applecultivation.Basedonfieldinvestigationsandacomprehensivereviewofrelevantliterature，thispaperelaboratesonthe importanceofbag-freetechnology，thecurentcultivatinpractics，andexistingissues，therebyoutliningtheresearchprogesin bag-freeaplecultivationin China.Thestudyalsopresentsaprospectiveoutlookon futuredevelopments，emphasizing the significance of research and promotion of bag-free apple cultivation technologies in China.
