Validation of DeterminingTotal Organic Carbon in Water with Combustion Oxidation-non -dispersive Infrared Absorption Method

Abstract：AccordingtoTechnicalGuidelineforDevelopmentofEnvironmentalMonitoringAnalyticalMethod Standard（HJ168- 2020），thisstudyadoptedthemethodsdescribedinWaterTotalOrganicCarbonDeterinationwithCombustionOxidationodispesie InfraredAbsotionetod（HO）totesttetectiolit，lowerliitprecisionndcoeessoftalogaiccarbonn water.Theresults showed thatthe correlation coefficient of the standard curvewas O.998，the detection！ imit=0.06mg/L ，the lower limit of determination =0.24mg/L ，therelative standard deviation =0 41%～2.4% ，the relative error was 0.46%～1.8% ，and the rate of recovery wasl 04% ，all of which met therequirements of standard methodsand therelated regulations of method verification. Therefore，thelaboratoryhastheabilitytodeterminethetotaloganiccarboncontentinwaterbycombustionoxidationonspersive infrared absorption method.
