Abstract: Based on Abaqus, the single pile examples from diffrent sites are modeled using thin-layer coeffcient method and master-slave surface contact method to simulate different pile-soil contact surfaces. The mechanical bearing characteristics under vertical load are analyzed, and the applicabilities of the two contact surface modeling methods are compared and analyzed from five aspects:modeling complexity, calculation accuracy,calculation time,soil composition,and pile-soil contact surface parameters.The results indicate that: both modeling methods for pile-soil contact surfaces have high accuracy;the modeling process of thin-layer coeficient method is simple and the calculation speed is fast;the influence of soil internal friction angle on the two methods is basically the same,and the master-slave surface contact method is more dependent on the friction coefficient of the pile-soil contact surface.
