A dialectical review and practical path of college students' red cultural identity in the era of algorithm recommendation

Abstract： Red culture is the advanced culture created and accumulated by the people under the leadership of the Communist Party of China in the process of revolution，construction and reform. College students' red cultural identity is related to the long-term development of the Party and the country. As a new means of information dissemination，algorithm recommendation not only brings opportunities for college students'red cultural identity，such as strengthening the subject consciousness，extending the identity field and enriching the identity way，but also causes some hidden risks，such as the imbalance of the supply of red cultural identity content caused by algorithm bias，the disorder in the red cultural identification environment caused by algorithmic capital coercion，and weakened rational foundation of red cultural identity caused by over-reliance on algorithmic technology. In this regard，it is necessary to explore the practice path of college students' red cultural identity in the era of algorithm recommendation from the three aspects of improving algorithm recommendation technology， improving algorithm specification system，and strengthening algorithm literacy education，so as to guide college students to strengthen cultural self-confidence，consciously inherit red culture，and become new people in the era who take on the great responsibility of national rejuvenation.
