Abstract:Thesubseachristmas tree isacriticalpieceofequipmentfordep-seaoilandgasdevelopment.Thetubing hanger, servingasachannelforoilandgasandan electricity,supports thetubingcolumnandseals theannularspacebetween the tubingandcasing,making itacorecomponentofthechristmastree.Itsstructuralstrengthdirectlyimpacts thesafetyofoil andgasproduction.Taking thetubinghangerfromanoilandgasfieldintheSouth China Seaasanexample,andanalyzing foreigntubinghangers,the mainstructuraldimensionsoftheunderwaterchristmastree'stubing hangerweredesigned.Finite elementanalysis was employedtoestablish the finiteelement modelofthetubing hanger,andnumerical simulations were conductedfitatiosringtlwengpocsssaliooalpduciondlcgdcingpe. The results indicated that during the lowering process,the maximum stress of the tubing hanger was 310.43MPa witha maximum deformation of 0.45009mm During the installation process,the maximum stress was 310.43MPa ,with a maximum deformation of 0.40885mm .Under normal production conditions of 69MPa and 64°C ,the maximum stress at the oil outlet of the tubing hanger was 311.13MPa ,with a maximum deformation of 0.58148mm .At 69MPa and 121°C ,the maximum stress was 586.93MPa ,and the maximum deformation was 1.33470mm .The analysis shows that the designed tubing hanger meets thesafetystrengthrequirements,exhibitsminimal deformation,andhasgoodstructuralsafety.This tubing hangerhas beensuccessfullyappliedtoChina'sfrstdomesticallydevelopedunderwaterchristmastreesystem,whichplaysasignificant role in advancing the localization of China's underwater oil and gas production systems.
