Abstract:Horizontal well technologyhas been widelyusedas themaindevelopment technology inshalegasexploitation. Horizontalsectionofshalegaswellhasultra-long,complexandchangeablewell tajectoryAtthebeginningofproduction, dailygas productionand waterproductionof gas wellarelarge,and thendailygas productionand water productionrapidly decrease.Afectedbymanyfactorssuchascomplexelltrajectorylowgasproductionandlowpressure,somegaswellshave accumulatedliquidinhorizontalsection.Inordertosolvetheaboveproblems,basedonCFDsimulationtechnology,thispaper establishesboreholegeometrymodelof typicalhorizontalsectionofwels,simulatesandcalculatesgas-water two-phaseflow characteristicsand influencerulesofupset tructure inhorizontalsectionunderdifferentoperatingconditionsusingEulerianEuleriancouplingMulti-Fluid VOFmixing method.Theresultsshow that withthe increaseoffluidflowrate,the liquid holdup curveoffullboreholeinhorzontalsectionofupsettructurefluctuatestoaryingdegres,andtheconcavepontunderorehole, Attheuphillsectionofoutlet,liquidphase iseasytofallbackandcausesaccumulatedliquid.Teliquidaccumulationheight atthe downholeofthewellboreslowlydecreases withthe increaseofgasflowrate,whichcancarrytheliquidoutofthe wel bore when the gas flow rate reaches 2.2m/s .When the gas well is in low production period and the gas flow rate reaches the maximum 1.1m/s, the liquid layer height is also more than halfof the size of borehole inner diameter,and h/D is about 0.55.
