Research on Drivability Evaluation of Battery Electric Vehicles with Disconnect Devices

[Abstract】To enhance driving performance during drive mode transitions in battery electricvehicles，acontrollable disengagementdevice isintegratedbetweenthefront axleelectricdriveassemblyandthediferentialenabling timely switching between four-wheel-drive（4WD）and two-wheel-drive（2WD）modes.First，adual-motor four-wheel-drive pure electric vehicleconfigurationincorporatingthedisengagementdeviceisconstructed，andtheenergy flowcharacteristicsof 2WD and 4WD modes are analyzed. Second，mode transition conditions are designed based on driving scenario requirements，andaphasedtorquetransfercotrolstrategyisdeveloped.Finallsevencategoiesofdrivabilityevaluation scenarios are proposed，along withobjectiveevaluation metrics.Experimentalvalidationdemonstrates thatthe proposed configuration significantly enhances the vehicle's driving performance and ride comfort.
