Review of Mechanism and Treatment Methods for Inducing Motion Sickness in Electric Vehicle Occupants
【Abstract】Eletric Vehicles (EVs)are more prone to inducing motion sicknesscompared to traditional vehicles.To investigatethefactorscontributingtomotionsicknessinEVsandtheirdifferencesfromtraditionalvehicles,andtopropose efectivemitigationandtreatment methods, processand mechanism of motion sickness induction in EVs is explored by analyzing factors such as EVs’structural characteristics, power output, and regenerative braking systems.Mitigation methods,including medicalmedications,structuraloptimization,andaromaregulation arealso considered.Meanwhile, subjectivequestionnairesandobjective physiologicaldataare compared asmethodsfor testing motion sickness.The researchresultsindicatethatEVsaremorelikelytoinducemotionsicknessduetotheirrobustpoweroutputcharacteristics and the repeatedpulling sensation caused bytheregenerativebraking system.Existing mitigationmethodshave shown varying degreesofeffectivenessacrossdifferent individuals.Additionallythestudyoffersinsightsandprospectsforfuture research on managing motion sickness in EVs, contributing to more effective solutions.
