A scope review of the impact of oral health interventions based on self-management support on outcomes in patients with type 2 diabetes

Abstract  Objective：To summarize the evidence about the oral health intervention based on self-management support promoting the prognosis of type 2 diabetes patients，and to evaluate the effectiveness of such programs.Methods：A systematic search was conducted on the Cochrane Library，PubMed，EMbase，EBSCO，CINAHL，Web of Science，CNKI，WanFang Database，and CBM.Relevant original studies were selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria.Results：A total of 7 studies were included，with interventions centered around the concept of self-management support，effectively improving oral health outcomes/blood glucose control outcomes/general health outcomes.Conclusion：Oral health intervention based on self-management support plays an important role in promoting the prognosis of type 2 diabetes patients.
