Abstract Objective：To evaluate the application effect of bright light therapy in cancer patients through Meta-analysis.Methods：Randomized controlled trials related to bright light therapy for cancer patients were retrieved from PubMed，the Cochrane Library，Web of Science，EMbase，CNKI，WanFang Database，VIP，and CBM.Simultaneously trace the references of relevant literature.Two researchers independently screened，extracted data，and evaluated the literature，using the RevMan 5.3 software for Meta-analysis.Results：A total of 7 articles were included.Meta-analysis results showed that compared with dim light therapy，bright light therapy can improve depression symptoms in cancer patients［SMD=－0.36，95%CI（－0.72，－0.01），P=0.04］and sleep quality［MD=－3.74，95%CI（－4.67，－2.81），P＜0.000 01］.There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in terms of cancer-related fatigue ［SMD=－0.20，95%CI（－0.47，0.07），P=0.15］and quality of life［SMD=0.12，95%CI（－0.29，0.52），P=0.58］.Conclusion：Existing evidence suggests that bright light therapy can improve depression and sleep quality in cancer patients，but the impact on cancer-related fatigue and quality of life is still unclear，and more high-quality research is needed to further demonstrate.
