Hazards and Control of Apple Virus Diseases

Abstract：After apple tres areinfected with viruses，the viruses compete with the treefor essential nutrients，disruptthe transportofnutrients withinthetree，alterthemetabolismoforganicsubstances，and inhibitphotosynthesis.Thisultimately leads to symptoms such as mosaic disease and russeting，severely affecting the marketabilityof the fruit and productioneficiency.Basedon practical experience，efective measures havebeen takentocontrol virus diseases，including theuseof virusresistantrotstocks，planting virus-freesedlings，heat treatment of saplings，cutting offvirus transmision pathways，increasing the aplicationoforganicferilizers，injectingantibiotics，andchemicalcontrol.These measures haveachieved positive results.
