Abstract: In order to promote the physical education reform of high school entrance examination and cultivate the core quality of physical education of students in the compulsory education stage,the research methods such as literature study, interview and logical analysis are used to clarify the core quality of physical education and put forward the implementation status of physical education before high school entrance examination. From the five aspects of evaluation purpose, content, strategy, standard and organizational supervision, it clarifies the core literacy of sports discipline and puts forward the necessary demands of the reform of postsecondary sports examination. From the perspective of cultivating core competencies in physical education across five dimensions—culture, design,delivery, implementation, and supervision, it deconstructs the restrictive factors of the reform of secondary sports examination. Finally, centering on the cultivation of core literacy of sports discipline, it put forward the promotion path of high school entrance examination sports reform, namely cultural leadership,top-level design, policy delivery, system implementation and supervision implementation.
