Abstract:Due to the difference in properties between the metal depositedon the roller surface and the substrate material,the wear-resistantlayerof themetaldepositedontherollersurface maypeeloff,which cannotmeetthe working environment of the roller press under harsh high stress conditions.Therefore,four different types of welding rods were selected to prepare flux cored welding wires,and the mechanical properties of the area after the welding rod andthe roler press rolersurface were studied.Select Q355 steel plate,which is closest to the roller surface material,as the substrate material.Four types of welding rods,including high chromium and high manganese, titaniumcarbide,highchromiumcast iron,andniobium containing,areselectedforoverlaywelding of thesubstrate material.Analyze the mechanical properties of the overlay welding area from the aspects of bonding strength, microstructure,shear strength,tensile strength,and wear quality.According to theexperimental results,itcan be seen that afterusing high chromium and high manganese welding rods to weld the substrate material,the bonding strength between the overlay areaand thesubstrate material is the highest.In terms of microstructure,the toughness of thebonding position is higher afterusing high chromium and high manganesewelding rods,making it easier to form hard phases during the welding process. The shear strength can reach up to 15MPa ,the tensile strength can reach 436.2MPa ,the elongation rate is 29.3% ,and the loss of area wear quality does not exceed 15g. It has high hardness and wear resistance,andcan resist high-strength wear borne by the roller surface of the roler press during work,which is conducive to ensuring the long-term stable operation of the roller surface.
