As a major member of Julan Society， Zhou Duo was oneof the important disseminators of  early Chinese modernistart. This articlesheds light on Zhou Duos book bindings，and analyzes  the style characteristics of his works andits promoting role in the popularization of fine   arts.Thisarticle also reveals the influence of modernist artists on themodernization of book  binding art in modern China.
