Abstract:To address the issues of unclear optimization of mining vehicle paths and frequent safety hazards in risers revealed in key technology research for deepsea mining systems,computational comparison and simulation were conducted,and the turning and collborative operation modes of mining vehicles were verified.The performance of the riser was studied.Through the calculation and analysis of mining efficiency and utilization rate of mineral-rich areas,turning outside the mineral-rich areas was more advantageous for mineral mining. The advantages and disadvantages of the collborative operation modes offour mining vehicles were compared,and the collaborative operation of the longitudinal linkage type ensured the recovery effciency.A Matlab genetic algorithm was used to optimize the path of the mining vehicles.When the mining vehicle deviated from the predetermined trajectory,two arc paths of R15 m could be automatically generated for precise and eficient correction. In the performance analysis of the riser, the relative velocity difference between the two phases was set to be 0~10m/s ,the vertical resultant force of the nodule was O,which could complete the lifting of the nodule.Ansys was used to simulate the flow around the riser,and the detachment frequency was calculated to be approximately 2.5 Hz, resulting in the Strouhal number of O.2, which verified the safety of the riser.
