Abstract：This paper analyzes the limitations of inheritance methodsof paperarchives restoration，the constraints of existing technical means and the differences of restoration quality standards.Using the SECl model as reference toanalyze the unique operation mode of "socialization， externalization，integration，internalization"and other knowledge transformation stages in the context of paper archives restoration，the paper builds a mechanism for the explicityof invisible knowledgeof paperarchivesrestoration.On this basis，it is proposed to build a knowledge sharing platform and case database for paper archives restoration， establish cooperationmechanism among archives，universities and social institutions，strengthen relevant legal protection，and implement multidimensional monitoring ofthe explicity processof invisible knowledge，inorder to promote the inheritance of invisible knowledge in the field of paperarchives restoration as well as industry progress.
