Analysis of Medication Rules of CAl Weibin in Treating Cough Based on Multivariate Data Mining

Abstract：Objective：To analyze the medication rules of CAI Weibin in treating cough through data mining techniques.Methods：Cough cases treated byCAI Weibin from January 2022 to April 2O24 were retrieved.The screened medical records were preprocessed，and a database was established for those meting the criteria.Systematic mining of the prescriptions was conducted using methods such as frequency analysis，association rule analysis，cluster analysis，and factor analysis.Results：A total of 5OO prescriptions were screened，involving 16O Chinese herbal medicines.The herbs with higher frequencies included Glycyrrhizae Radix etRhizoma，CicadaePeriostracum，Perile Folium，Peucedani Radix，Arctii Fructus，Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus，with herbal natures mainly warm and neutral，flavors mainlysweet，biter，andacrid，andchannelentriesmainlythelungandlivermeridians.Association ruleanalysis yielded7pairs of herbsand1O groups of triplet-herbcombinations.Five clustering prescriptions were obtained through systematic cluster analysis，and ninecommon factors were extracted through factoranalysis. Conclusion：CAI Weibin combines disease differentiation with syndrome diferentiation in clinically treating cough. The disease location ofcough is the lung.Ontheonehand，the maintreatment focuses ondispersing wind anddifusing thelung，and astringing the lung anddescending qi；on the other hand，atention is paid toregulating the spleen and stomach and freeing the flow of liver qi，and removing dampness and resolving phlegm，promoting qi and relieving depression. Etiological treatment is emphasized，and balancing cold and heat is also focused on.
