Abstract:The promulgation of the Family Education Promotion Law of the People's Republic of China has provided legal support and operational guidance for public libraries to engage in family education guidance service. Based on ananalysis of the current status offamily education service in public libraries,this paper takes curriculum as an entry point and constructs a principled framework for designing family education courses in public libraries,grounded in the characteristics of library educational practice.The framework comprises four dimensions:curiculum objectives of "cyclic coherence",curriculum content of " problem-oriented",curriculum organization of "flexible yet structured",and curriculum evaluation of "three-dimensional and dynamic".From the perspectiveof decision-making and action basis,this paper proposes four thinking paths for family education courses development of public libraries:subjective thinking,product thinking,scenario thinking and relational thinking,offring theoretical eferences and practical guidance for libraries to develop family education courses.
