Optimal Allocation of Water Resources in Haiyuan County Based on GWAS Model

Abstract The optimal alocation of water resources isa key measure to balance water and development,which can ease the contradiction between supply and demand of water resources and promote the coordinated development between economy and ecology.Therefore,the development and utilization of water resources in Haiyuan County was analyzed with the method of water resources evaluation,the GWAS(general water allocation and simulation)configuration model wasconstructed,anda study on the optimal allocation of water resources in Haiyuan County in the planning year(2O25,2O035) was conduct to provide a theoretical basis for thecoordinated development of water resources,watershed andregional economic,social and ecological environmental protection in Haiyuan County.The resultsshow that the water supply in the planned years (2025 and 2035) will reach 127.O6 million m3 and 128.92 million m3 respectivelyunder 75% of the inflow conditions, whichcan'tmeet the full alocation of water consumption.Itissuggestedtostrengthen theutilizationof unconventional water sources,rationallyalocate YellowRiver diversionwaterandgroundwaterresources,and realize the optimal allocation of county water resources.
