[ABSTRACT]ObjectiveTo investigate theonset of neuropathic pain（NP）inpatients with kneeosteoarthritis（KOA）and relatedinfluencingfactors.MethodsAtotalof313KOApatientswhoattendedtheoutpatientserviceofDepartmentofRehabilitationMedicineinourhospitalfromJuly223toOctober2024wereenroled，andacordingtothescoringresultsofthePainDETECTquestionnaire，theywere divided into NP groupand non-NP group.The two groups werecompared in terms ofage，sex， body mass index （BMI），durationof kneepain symptoms，Kelgren-Lawrence （K-L）grading，pain VisualAnalogue Scale（VAS） score，WesternOntarioand McMaster UniversitiesOsteoarthritis Index（WOMAC），Hospital AnxietyandDepresion Scale （HADS）score，and knemagnetic resonance imaging（MRI）findings.Alogisticregresionanalysis was performed forthe indicatorswithstatisticalsignificanceidentifdbytheunivariateanalysistoobtaintheriskfactorsforNP.ResultsOfallatients， the patients with NP accounted for 16.61% . There were significant differences between the two groups in age，sex，pain VAS score，WOMAC，HADS score，andthe proportionofpatients with meniscusinjury，softtisue edemaaroundthe kneejointor knee joint ligament injury on MRI （ Y=16.272-49.953，χ2=12.897-23.792，P<0.05） . The logistic regression analysis showed that oldage，ahighpain VASscore，ahigh HADSscore，thepresenceof softtisseedema aroundthe kneejoint，andthepresence of knee joint ligament injury were risk factors for the onset of NP （ ΔP<0.05Δ ．ConclusionOld age，a high pain VAS score，a high HADS score，the presenceofsoft issueedema aroundthe kneejoint，andthe presenceofknee joint ligamentinjuryarerisk factors for the onset of NP in KOA patients.
