Control Efficacy of Pyraclonil 280g/L SC on Weeds and Its Selectivity to Rice in Mechanie Transplanting Rice Fields

Abstract:To evaluate pyraclonil 28O g/LSC on weeds and its selectivityto rice in mechanical transplanted ricefields, afieldtrial was conductedduring 2O24inGaochun District,NanjingCity,Jiangsu Province,screeningseveral herbicides including pyraclonil 280g/L SC,oxaziclomefone 10% SC + bensulfuron-methyl ?? mefenacet 53% WP,mefenacet·bensulfuron-methyl ? benzobicyclon 63% WDG,and pretilachlor 500g/L EC + oxadiargyl 38% OD.The results showed that the control eficacy of pyraclonil 280g/L SC with 900mL/hm2 was significant in controlling Gramineae weedsand broad-leaved weedsinmechanical transplantedricefields.Plant control eficacy basedon total weeds reached 100% at 30 days after application,while plant and fresh weight control efficacies based on weeds were 93. 20% (204號(hào) and 99.68% at 60 days after application,respectively. In terms of selectivity to rice,burn spots appeared on the leaves of somerice seedlingsat3days after application,but recovery began at7daysafter applicationandnormalized at15 days afterapplication.Moreover,there wasnosignificantimpact onrice tilering or yield.Byapplying pyraclonil (2 280g/L SC at 900mL/hm2 5 to 7 days after machine - transplanting,effective one- time weed control could be achieved at the pre -emergent stage in transplanted rice fields while maintaining high yields.
