Analysis of nucleic acid detection results of respiratory tract pathogens in Dali area

【Abstract】ObjectiveToanalyze the distributionof pathogenic bacteria inlowerrespiratory tractinfection in Dali area, soas toprovidediagnosticbasis for clinicallowerrespiratorytractinfection,and guideclinicalrationaluseofantibiotics.

MethodsAtotalof5O39samplesofrespiratorytractpathogenscollctedfromDaliresidentsintheFirstAffliated Hospital ofDaliUniversityfromNovember2O21toFebruary2O23wereanalyzed,andlop-mediated isothermalamplification (LAMP)wasused to detect respiratory tract pathogens andanalyze their distribution.ResultsOverallpositive rate was 45. 68 % (2302/5039),among which the top5infections were Haemophilus influenzae,Streptococus pneumoniae,Mycoplasma pneumoniae,Staphylococcus aureus and Klebsiella pneumoniae.Themain infection type was singlepathogenic bacteria infection,andthetop3wereHaemophilus influenzae,Mycoplasma pneumoniaeandStreptococus pneumoniae.Theoveralpositive detection rate in adults ( 43.03% )was significantly lower than that in children(7 2.11% ). The pathogen detection rate in males was higher than that in females,and difference was statistically significant( χ2=6.483 P=0.011 ). Conclusion LAMPcanquicklyandaccuratelydetectthepathogens ofrespiratorytractinfection.InDaliarea,the most widelydistributed pathogen inlowerrespiratorytractinfectionsisHaemophilus influenzae.Theoverallpositiverateofinfectioninmalesishigherthanthat infemales,andthepositivedetectionrate inchildrenis higherthanthatinadults.Theinfectiontype ismainly dominated by single-pathogen infection.
