Evidence summary of non-drug prevention and management of febrile neutropenia in cancer patients

Abstract  Objective： To retrieve，evaluate，and integrate the best evidence on non-drug prevention and management of febrile neutropenia in cancer patients. Methods： Clinical decisions，guidelines，evidence summaries，expert consensus，systematic reviews，and Meta-analyses on non-drug prevention and management of febrile neutropenia in cancer patients were systematically retrieved from relevant guideline websites，databases，and professional association websites in China and abroad. The search period was from database establishment to September 30，2023. Results： A total of 20 articles were included，including 5 clinical decision-making articles，11 guidelines，and 4 expert consensus articles. A total of 37 pieces of evidence were summarized from 4 aspects： risk assessment，infection prevention and control，health education，and follow-up and monitoring. Conclusions： The best evidence summarized for non-drug prevention and management of febrile neutropenia in cancer patients could provide evidence-based basis for clinical medical staff，so as to standardize the management of febrile neutropenia in cancer patients.
