Influencing factors of readmission within 31 day in patients with COPD：a Meta-analysis

AbstractObjective：To systematically evaluate the influencing factors of hospital readmissions in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease（COPD），and to provide evidence support for reducing the incidence of COPD within 31 d readmissions.Methods：The influencing factors of COPD patients within 31 d readmission studies were retrieved from CNKI，VIP，WanFang Database，SinoMed，PubMed，Web of Science，EMbase，the Cochrane Library.The retrieval time was from the inception to March 2023.Finally Stata15.0 software was used for Meta-analysis after two researchers independently screened articles，extracted data and quality evaluation.Results：A total of 28 studies were included，including 23 factors.The Meta-analysis results showed that diabetes，coronary heart disease，male，heart failure，depression，female，cancer，medicaid，length of hospital stay，emergency admission，emergency admission once in the past 1 year，alcoholism，mental illness，and hospitalization for 1-2 weeks were the influencing factors of readmission.Conclusion：Current evidence shows that the readmission of patients with COPD within 31 days is affected by many factors，and high-risk groups should be identified according to the risk factors，and accurate prevention should be carried out on the basis of comprehensive assessment to reduce the occurrence of hospital readmission.
