AbstractLu Zibo is an important promoter and theoretical researcher of the reform of China’s library industry， and his career spans thecritical period of China’s public library's transformation towardsmodernization.This paper systematicallyexamines hisinnovative explorations in library management，talentcultivation，academic research， and grassroots library construction byreviewing his work practice andacademic contributions.During his tenureat JinlingLibraryand NanjingLibrary，Lu Zibosignificantly improved theserviceefficiencyofthelibraries through institutionalreform，technologicalapplication，andeducational training.Itstheoreticalresearchandpractical promotion onthe construction of township libraries provide important references for the development of grasroots libraries in China.Asthechairmanofthe Jiangsu Library Society，he has planned multiplenational academicactivities to promote the deepening of library science research.The paper not only summarizes Lu Zibo's specific contributions to the developmentofthelibraryindustry，butalsoreveals theenlightening significanceof hisreformphilosophy for contemporary library construction，providing a typical case for the modernization developmentof libraries in China.
