The Life Cycle of Credit Services in Public Libraries: Theoretical Framework, Problem Representation and Solutions

AbstractThe integrityof the credit service lifecycleof public libraries isof great significance for promoting the high-qualitydevelopmentof public libraryservices.Basedonthe lifecycle theory,acredit service lifecycletheoretical framework isconstructedfromdimensionssuchascreditcollection,creditrating,creditapplication,andcreditrepair to analyze the problemrepresentationof thecredit service lifecycleof public libraries and propose solutions.Research hasfound that thereareproblems inthecreditservicelifecycle,suchascreditcolectionfragmentation,externalization of credit ratings,limited credit applications,and lack ofcredit repair.Basedonthis,public libraries should establish and improve creditcolection,credit rating,credit application,and credit repair mechanisms by integrating internal and external credit information,buildingtheir own evaluation and grading systems,improving reward and punishment systems,and clarifying the applicationand repair proces,inorder to promote the high-qualitydevelopmentof public library credit services.
