Research on Causes and Countermeasures of Failure in Digital Humanities Project： Analysis Based on Best Exploration of DH Failure in Digital Humanities Awards

AbstractExploring thecausal mechanismsofdigital humanities projects failure iscriticaltodigitalhumanities sustainability.Using the22“Best ExplorationofDHFailure”from the2Ol4-2023Digital HumanitiesAwardsas the data source，weanalyze thepotentialcausesof digital humanities projects failureand theircopingstrategies inaphasedand multi-dimensional waythroughcasecontentanalysis，combined with literatureresearchand practical projects experiences.Itisfoundthatdigitalhumanitiesprojectshaveproblemsattheplanning，literacyandethicallevelsintheearlystage ofdevelopment;atthelegal，technicalandpersonnellevelsinthemiddlestageofdevelopment，andatthefinancial， guaranteandarchiving levels inthelatestageofdevelopment.Forthisreason，thestudy proposes effectivecountermeasuresfor future digital humanities projects at different development stages from the dimensionsofstrategyand planning， implementationandoperation，guaranteeandsupport，soas tohelpthesustainabilityof thedevelopmentofdigital humanities projects.
