AbstractFusarium crown rot (FCR) has become one of the most important diseases in the main wheat production region of China.Detecting the distribution of FCR resistance alelesand analyzing their genetic effcts could provide guidance and available resources for wheat FCR resistance breeding.TaDIR-Bl gene has been reported to be involved in the regulation of wheat lignin synthesis,whose los-of-function could significantly improve lignin synthesis,and then improve the resistance to FCR.In the present study,a total of 106 wheat varieties (lines) originated from home and abroad were used as materials,the disease severity was investigatd by inoculation test with FCR in field,and the distributionof diferent variants and their genetic effects on FCR were analyzed by TaDIR-Bl sequencing. The results showed that among the 1O6 materials,73 belonged to mutant type (TaDIR-B1b )which accounting for 68.87% of the total,and 33 belonged to wild type (TaDIR-Bla)which accounting for 31.13% of the total. The mean disease severity of FCR in the materials carrying TaDIR-B1b was lower than that in the materials carrying TaDIR–BIa ,and the differences in three environments and the mean value were significant ( P<0.05 )or extremely significant. The proportion of TaDIR-B1b materials in Shandong and Hebei Province was relatively higher.Jimai 17O3,Mantol,Baimangmai, Shi 4185,Boomer and Azulon carried TaDIR-Bla gene and had lower disease severity of FCR,which could be used as parents for resistant variety breeding.
