在內(nèi)蒙古包頭市北部，有一座以礦產(chǎn)資源豐富著稱(chēng)的工業(yè)重鎮(zhèn)——白云鄂博。白云鄂博，在蒙古語(yǔ)中意為“富饒的神山”。這里蘊(yùn)藏著占世界已探明總儲(chǔ)量41%以上的稀土礦物，以及鐵、鈮、錳、磷、螢石等175種礦產(chǎn)資源，是享譽(yù)世界的“稀土之都”。

In the northern part of Baotou City in InnerMongolia lies Bayan Obo， an industrial townrenowned for its rich mineral resources. Thename “Bayan Obo” translates to the “abundant，sacred mountain” in Mongolian. This areaharbors over 41% of the world’s confirmedreserves of rare earth minerals， along with 175mineral resources， including iron， niobium，manganese， phosphorus， and fluorite， earning itthe title of the “World’s Rare Earth Capital.”
