Abstract:To solve the problems of cumbersome operation process,high cost and risk in the connection process of main and lateral holes existed inthe current one-trip sidetracking technology,a one-tripdissoluble hollow whipstock was developed.The to adopts dissoluble materials and a hollow structure design,realizing simultaneous exploitation of mainand branch holes afterdriling and completion of branch holes without additional processes such as whipstock recovery ordirectional perforation.Then,theoretical calculation,numerical simulation and test verification were conducted to analyze the rationalityofsuspension pin design.Theresults indicate thatthe average relative error between the measured shear force and the design value is 3.4% ,meeting the technological requirements.The accurate control of disolution time is realized by combining the application wellconditions and operation cycle.The application in three wels of Bohai oilfield has demonstrated thattheoil production has increased by 號 30.3m3 on average compared to proration,with a growth rate of 56. 4% . The main and lateral holes achieve efficient connection.Compared with conventional technology,this technology reduces roundtrip times,with operation cycle reduced by 8.4h on average,significantly reducing operating costs and risks. The study results provide technical support for the reconstruction of old wells in offshore oilfields.
