Abstract  Objective：To translate Fear of Activity in Patients with Coronary Artery Disease（Fact-CAD） and test its reliability and validity.Methods：Fact?CAD was translation according to the Brislin translation model.Provisional Chinese version of Fact?CAD was developed after cultural adaptation and pre-investigation.A total of 340 patients with coronary heart disease hospitalized in cardiovascular department of a tertiary grade A hospital in Luoyang city were selected as research subjects from February 22 to September 30，2021.Item of provisional Chinese version of Fact?CAD was analyzed，and reliability and validity was test.Results：The Chinese version of Fact?CAD was single dimensional scale，and its Cronbach's α coefficient was 0.982，the half reliability was 0.986， the retest reliability was 0.854，the item?level content validity index was from 0.83 to 1.00，scale?content validity index was 0.90.Exploratory factor analysis extracted one common factor with an eigenvalue of 15.484，and the variance contribution rate was 73.732%.Conclusions：The Chinese version of Fact?CAD has good reliability and validity，and can be used for assessing fear of activity in Chinese patients with coronary heart disease.
