Abstract  Objective：To construct the mini program for home care management of chronic wound based on the needs of wound therapists，in order to standardize the model of chronic wound home care management，improve the management efficiency of therapists and the quality of home care.Methods：Self?made questionnaire was used to investigate the needs of wound therapists for home care management mini program，and the module content of mini program was determined.JS，JSON，WXML，WXSS and other programming languages were used to design and develop the mini program，which was updated and put online after modification and improvement.A total of 61 wound therapists were selected as the research objects，and the mini program was used to conduct home care management for patients.After one month of trial，the mobile medical application usability questionnaire was used to evaluate the effect，and 15 therapists were given semi?structured interviews， and the topic of the interview data was extracted by Colaizzi analysis method.Results：The total score of usability evaluation of mobile medical applications was 6.10±0.81.Three themes were extracted from semi?structured interview data：improving cost effectiveness and service efficiency，promoting nurse?patient communication and standardizing information sources， and enhancing wound science.Conclusions：The content and function of the mini program for home care management of chronic wound based on the needs of wound therapists were relatively complete and strong pertinence，which could effectively improve the service efficiency of therapists，increase nurse?patient communication，and strengthen wound science popularization.Medical staff should be actively involved in the construction of the home care management application.
