Abstract:Based on the temporal coupled-mode theory the light-controling characteristics line-defect waveguides point-defect resonant cavities,a two-channel filtering system composed a main waveguide,two drop waveguides,two resonant cavities, two reflecting cavities was designed using the two-dimensional square latice photonic crystal. The b structures the complete photonic crystal the line-defect waveguide were calculated by the plane-wave expansion (PWE) method, the modal distribution the point-defect resonant cavity was analyzed. Using the Finite-Diference Time-Domain (FDTD)method,the transmision characteristics the filtering system were investigated.The effects linear variations in the distances from the reflector reflection cavity to the reference plane the reso nant cavity on the system’s download eficiency were analyzed. Additionally,the variation pattrns transmitance peaks with these distance parameters were elucidated. Guided by the calculation results,the simulation design the filtering system was implemented.The simulation results demonstrate that the filtering system can couple the optical signals with wavelengths 1561.2nm 1570.5nm into their respective drop waveguides with relatively high precision. The transmission eficiencies them are 98.9% (204號(hào) 97.2% . The full width at half maximum(FWHM)values are 3.3nm 3.5nm . The quality fac torsare 473 449, the wavelength interval is Δλ=9.3nm . The proposed filtering system exhibits a compact footprint merely 20.88μm×22.04μm with a structurally simple configuration. Featuring a tunable operating wavelength high compatibility with large-scale integration,this study can provide certain theoretical foundations conceptual insights for the design integrated optical circuits in optical communications.
