My Volunteer Experience

As we all know， “Serving others can bring us happiness.” During the last summer vacation， I joined communal volunteer activities. Not only did I feel good about helping others， but I also spent time doing what I wanted to do.

In the morning， I went to the old people’s home to talk with them. They were very delighted when they told me stories about the past and how things used to be. In the afternoon， I went to the community to do some cleaning. I also picked up rubbish and watered the flowers there. What’s more， I played with the kids and taught them some skills. I got such a strong feeling of satisfaction.

I have learned a lot from volunteering. I’d like to help people who are in trouble. If everyone helps out a bit， the world will be more colorful！
