Research progress of traditional Chinese medicine regulating PI3K/Akt signaling pathway to promote chronic wound healing

ABSTACTThepathogenesisofchronicwoundhealingiscomplexItisoftendifficulttohealduetoalongcourseof disease， diffcultyintreatmentanditseriouslyafectsthequalityoflifeinpatients.Theactiveingredients，coupletmedicinalsand compound formulasoftraditionalChinesemedicine（TCM）posssuniqueadvantages inthetreatmentofchronicwound healing. Thephosphatidylinositol3-kinase/proteinkinaseBPI3K/Akt）signalingpathwayisextremelycriticalinthetreatmentofchronic wound healingbyregulatingaseriesofbiologicalprocesesincludingcellapoptosisangiogenesisandinflammatoryesposes. ThisarticlereviewstherelevantresearchontheregulationofthePI3K/AktsignalingpathwaybyTCMtopromotechronicwound healing.Ithasbeenfoundthattheactiveingredientsof TCM（suchasgeniposide，astragaloside，andginsenosides，etc.）and comoun formulas（suchas Chonghe ointment，Huanglian ointment，Shirun shaoshang ointment，etc.）mainly reduce inflammatoryesponsespromoteangigenesisegulateellutophagy，andaccelerateoundhealingbyactivtingtheKAkt signalingpathway；atthesametime，there arealsoafewcouplet medicinals（suchasHuangqiHonghua）andcompound formulas （suchasXiangpiShengjiintment）thatexert antinflammatoryefectsbyinhibiting thissignalingpathway，topromote wound healing.
