Effect of Compound Danshen Dropping Pills Combined with Milrinone on Serum Biochemical

Indexes and Heart Rate Variability in Patients with Chronic Heart Failure

【Abstract】Objective： To explore the effect of Compound Danshen Dropping Pills combined with Milrinone on serum biochemical indexes and heart rate variability in patients with chronic heart failure（CHF）. Methods： A total of 80 CHF patients were selected and divided into 2 groups according to random number table method，control group（n=40） and observation group（n=40）. On the basis of conventional treatment，the control group was given Milrinone treatment and the observation group was given Compound Danshen Dropping Pills combined with Milrinone treatment. The course of treatment was 8 weeks. The efficacy，cardiac function ［left ventricular ejection fraction（LVEF），cardiac index（CI），left ventricular end-diastolic diameter（LVEDD）］，serum biochemical parameters ［interleukin-8（IL-8），hypersensitive C-reactive protein（hs-CRP）］ and heart rate variability ［24h normal sinus RR interval standard deviation（SDNN），adjacent RR interval difference >50 ms percentage of beats to total RR interval（PNN50），Low frequency band（LF）］ of the two groups were compared. Results： Compared with that of the control group，the total effective rate of the observation group was higher（P<0.05）. After treatment，LVEF，CI，SDNN，PNN50 and LF in the two groups were increased（P<0.05） while LVEDD，hs-CRP and IL-8 were decreased（P<0.05），and the changes were more significant in the observation group（P<0.05）. Conclusion： Compound Danshen Dripping Pills combined with Milrinone has a definite effect in the treatment of CHF，can improve cardiac function，reduce serum hs-CRP and IL-8 levels，and improve heart rate variability index.
