Effect of out of hospital management mode based on Internet on postoperative intervention of patients with esophageal cancer：a Meta－analysis

Abstract Objective：To systematically evaluate the intervention effect of Internet－based out－of－h(huán)ospital management model on postoperative patients with esophageal cancer.Method：Randomized controlled trials and quasi trial studies on internet－based out of hospital management model intervention for postoperative esophageal cancer patients were retrieved from CNKI，VIP，WanFang Database，CBM，EMbase，PubMed，Web of Science，MedLine，and the Cochrane Library.The search deadline was from database establishment to December 1，2022.Literature screening，quality evaluation，and data extraction were carried out by two researchers.RevMan 5.3 software was used for Meta－analysis.Result：A total of 9 articles were included，involving 720 patients.The Meta－analysis results showed that the internet－based outpatient management model can improve the quality of life of patients（MD＝9.24，95％CI 7.55－10.92，P＜0.000 01），reduce the incidence of postoperative anastomotic stenosis（RR＝0.31，95％CI 0.17－0.59，P＝0.000 3），and improve patient self－care ability（MD＝5.39，95％CI 4.23－6.55，P＜0.000 01），and nursing satisfaction（RR＝1.37，95％CI 1.18－1.59，P＜0.000 1）.Conclusion：Existing evidence suggests that an internet－based outpatient management model can improve patient quality of life，reduce the incidence of anastomotic stenosis，enhance self－care ability，improve nursing satisfaction，and promote patient recovery.
