Exploring the Challenges and Prospects of Applying ChatGPT Technology inLibraryManagement

Abstract:[Purposes] To explore the challenges and prospects of applying ChatGPT technology in library management.[Methods] This study examines the current challenges faced by ChatGPT technology in library management. By analyzing real-world implementation scenarios,it explores actionable strategies to overcome these challenges,aiming to optimize the effectiveness of ChatGPT technology in library operations and elevate overall management standards.[Findings] At present, the challnges in applying ChatGPT technology to library management mainly lie in the lack of proper understanding of its application among library staff and the absence of well-established implementation models,which hinders the technology from realizing its fullpotential.[Conclusions] Inpractice,it is essential to establish a proper understanding of ChatGPT technology application,optimize relevant library management models,and enhance work efficiency inaccordance with the characteristics of library management.
