Recently researchers announced the discoveryof a 127-year-old bigmouth buffalo fish in Saskatchewan，Canada. Buffalo fish continue to live their best lives intotheir upper 80s and 90s， with better stress response andimmune function relative to younger individuals. Buffalo fish can go decades between successful reproductions［ 繁殖； 復(fù)制］because they require very specific environmentalconditions—most of which are still unknown—toprocreate. That’s why the fish evolved to live so long.
