COUB：a new syndrome of lower urinary tract symptom

（Department of Urology，Affiliated Haikou Hospital，Xiangya School of Medicine，Central South University，Haikou 570208，China）ABSTRACT：Comprehending coexisting overactive-underactive bladder （COUB） contributes to the exploration of lower urinary tract symptom （LUTS）. This article reviews the definition，possible pathophysiological mechanisms，symptoms and diagnosis，as well as treatment options of COUB，so as to enhance the classification，diagnosis，and treatment of lower urinary tract symptom.
