Abstract：Throughpushovertests，thisstudyinvestigatesthecrackpropagationpaterns，plastichingedistribution characteristics，and energy dissipation mechanisms ofconcrete members with hybridGFRPbar-steel bar stepped configurations underload，aiming toexplore theseismic performanceofGFRP-reinforcedconcretecompositestructures.Theresultsshowthat thehigh strengthandlowelastic moduluscharacteristicsof GFRPbarscombinedwiththeductiltyadvantagesofstelbarscan promote theformationof multiplecontrolableplasticzones inthe members，andthe hierarchical evolutionof multiple plastic zoneseffectivelydelaysthedegradationof structural stiffess，themulti-levelyieldmechanismof themembersisstableunder strongearthquake.Theformationof multipleplastic zones inconcretememberscanbeefectivelyregulatedbythestrategyof Cascade cooperativereinforcementofGFRPbarsand steelbars，andthe lengthandreinforcementparametersof thecascadecan be reasonably controlled，it can increase the seismic performance of the cascade GFRP Bars + reinforced concrete members. Thisreveals theenancementpathof cascadereinforcementonthemechanical propertiesofconcretemembers，and providesan important reference value for the improvement of the seismic theory system of new composite structures.
